YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS ALONE!

We, the Friends & Family of FMPG, Want you to know that you are not the only one who has had a spouse of significant other intervened upon by PRN.

All you have to do is put out your hand so that we can take it. When you are not alone, neither are we.

Our members come from all walks of life all over the world. We have been hurt and broken, faced adversity, and have been made whole again — not only to face life with courage. but to help others become better people. Once we were tightly wrapped in a cocoon of misery and, like the butterfly, have been changed and are truly free.

We will be glad to reach out to you, share what it was like for us, what happened, and what it is like now.

Accept the fact that change must begin with you. If you are tired of pain and difficult problems, and are ready for a new way of life, help is as near as the telephone.

Do not hesitate to call upon us. We will welcome the opportunity to comfort and enlighten you. You need not feel embarrassed about asking anything. WE have all been where you are now.

Many questions and problems will arise at this time. Questions such as “What to do about the office and patients?”, or "How can I possibly pay these bills".

Please allow us to give back some of what was given to us. Call one of us today.

Many medical families suffer from the serious problem associated with alcoholism, drug abuse, and mental or emotional illness. Often these medical families feel isolated, alone and helpless. They believe that there is no place they can turn for confidential support and understanding.

The Florida Medical Association’s Medical Family Program. a component of the Physicians Recovery Network and the Florida Impaired Practitioner Program, exists to help medical families deal with the problems and stresses associated with alcoholism, drug abuse and mental or emotional illness. The family program provides confidential support, crisis financial assistance, education and referrals to medical families.

For more information about this statewide family program, contact Yvonne Kennedy in the PRN office at 1-800-888-8776.
